Lydia Knutson, DC
Dr. Lydia H. Knutson received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree summa cum laude from the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic in 2000. After graduating she trained with David Newton, D.C. in Wellesley, Massachusetts. His groundbreaking work with Axial Stability Method® is her greatest influence. She continues to expand this remarkably effective chiropractic method with specialized techniques developed by American, European and Australian energy kinesiologists. Her collaboration with energy kinesiologist Charles Krebs, Ph.D. has opened exciting doors for the advancement of chiropractic and Axial Stability Method. In 2017 she launched an initiative to increase the visibility of Axial Stability Method within the chiropractic profession and the public at large. With support from the Zebrin Foundation she wrote a 280 page training manual (with 70 instructional videos), created the Axial Stability Method website plus 17 educational YouTube videos, trained a cohort of chiropractors, and initiated several research studies with co-investigator, Dr. Stephanie Sullivan at Life University.
Axial Stability Method is a whole body biomechanical approach to correcting inefficiencies in the sensory-motor movement system. She has a personal interest in how physical biomechanical injury plays a role in childhood developmental delays and learning disabilities. Though a bright child, she didn't learn to read until the age of 10 due to a visual developmental delay. As she struggled in the public educational system of the 1960s, a fortuitous visit to a behavioral optometrist changed her life. He recommended eye exercises and a complete cessation of all near work. His hope was that given time the eyes would eventually develop binocular vision. After flunking out of 3rd grade, her parents gathered the courage to take her out of school entirely. Two years later she began to read and hasn't stopped since. In hindsight she wonders how much quicker she would have overcome the delay if she had received more whole body biomechanical intervention.
Dr. Knutson brings to her practice a wide array of skills and interests. In addition to her work as a chiropractor, she was for many years a professional classical singer. She holds a Bachelor of Music from the Longy School of Music/Emerson College and a Masters in Voice from the Royal Conservatory, The Hague, The Netherlands. She was a founding member of the medieval music ensemble Fortune's Wheel, and a member of Boston based Blue Heron Renaissance Choir. She recorded and toured internationally with many other early music groups, most notably Sequentia Cologne. She has a special interest in treating performers and assisting them with the high stress, high stakes, high rate of injury performer's lifestyle.
She is licensed in the states of Massachusetts and Georgia, and is a member of the American Chiropractic Association and the Massachusetts Chiropractic Society. She sits on the Board of Directors for Breakthroughs International, and the Waldorf School of Lexington.

Nicole Andrade, DC, CACCP
Dr. Nicole K. Andrade, DC, CACCP has been studying and practicing natural healing techniques for 20 years. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Pre-Medical Sciences with a minor in Spanish language from Hartwick College in Oneonta, NY, graduating Magna Cum Laude as an Abraham L. Kellogg Scholar in 1996. She received her Doctorate of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College where she graduated magna cum laude in 2000. She interned and practiced in New York City for two years before returning to her hometown of Gloucester, MA to be closer to her family and the sea. She completed an advanced certification from the Academy of Family Practice and the Council on Chiropractic Pediatrics in 2012 including the Webster Technique for pregnancy. She also participates in a practice based research network to prove the efficacy and safety of chiropractic care in pregnancy and pediatrics through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.
Dr. Andrade enjoyed a successful private practice for 15 years before choosing to join the team at Lydian Chiropractic. As her son transitioned to school, she felt the call to move to a group setting where she could spend more time healing and less time managing. After only three days witnessing the miracles of Axial Stability Method® chiropractic treatment and interacting with the passionate and caring staff, she knew she had found a new home at Lydian Chiropractic. ASM® combined many of the techniques she had used historically but in a new and brilliant way. It was easy to see that it offers a more gentle, more effective and longer- lasting healing with enormous performance enhancement potential in a much shorter time frame.
Dr. Andrade spent several years competing in triathlon and international dory racing. She now enjoys family hikes, yoga, transcendental meditation and sailing adventures with her partner and their six year old son. She is currently enrolled in a year-long herbal intensive with Margi Flint, RH and is also working towards completion of Louis Klein’s Luminos Foundations Homeopathy Course. She has studied reiki, shamanism and ethnobotanical and spiritual healing traditions for 11 years with indigenous and traveling healers of New England, New Mexico and of the Amazon regions of Peru, Brazil and Ecuador, and integrates these and other modalities into her integrative healing practice.
Phillip Messineo, DC
Dr. Phillip Messineo obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic degree summa cum laude at Life University College of Chiropractic in Atlanta, Georgia. He was born and raised in New York City where he developed an early interest in neuroscience, nutrition and preventative healthcare. At the age of 15, he first experienced the wonders of chiropractic care. As an athlete and musician, he had musculoskeletal discomforts and injuries over the years. One morning, upon waking up he had severe neck pain and was unable to turn his neck to the right, a condition called pseudo- torticollis. Luckily, his parents brought him to the family chiropractor. After two visits, he had full neck range of motion restored and his neck pain resolved.
Dr. Messineo received his Bachelor of Science degree in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences at Boston University. Although interested in medical school and speech-language pathology, he kept gravitating towards holistic, non-invasive health care, searching for the root cause of body dysfunction. He shadowed medical doctors and physical therapists and worked as a nursing assistant at a hospital, but what he saw in the conventional medical model was not a good fit. He decided to become a chiropractor, seeking to optimize people’s health without drugs or surgery.
In his free time, Dr. Messineo enjoys playing tennis, traveling and spending time with family. He and his longtime partner, Bryan, are thrilled to be back in the Boston area.

Savannah Moore, DC
Dr. Savannah Moore's first career was working as a sign artist for Trader Joe's. Her work took her to several states across the country, and her experiences in each locale offered various perspectives on health. She had always been interested in learning different health concepts, having grown up in a family with neurodegenerative disease. She observed, and personally experienced, how diet, exercise, social skills, cultural values, and access to resources, education, and finances all seemed to correlate with various levels of vitality.
Dr. Moore's introduction to chiropractic came in Denver, Colorado, where she learned for the first time that health depends on efficient communication between the brain and nervous system. This, to her, made the most sense of any of the health modalities she had explored. She decided to shift from her job as a sign artist, and moved back to California to attend Life Chiropractic College West.
While in school, she enjoyed spending many extracurricular hours learning the most gentle and effective chiropractic techniques. She also lent her curiosity to supportive modalities like Neuro Emotional Technique (NET), CranioSacral Therapy, and trauma-informed bodywork.
Her passion lies in helping people experience ease in their bodies–through improved function, adaptability, and effective navigation of stress.
In her free time, she enjoys the same activities she had as a child–being outside, bike riding, running, dancing, making art, trying new recipes, and spending time with loved ones, new and old.
