Sophia Donohue, Front Desk Staff

Sophia's interest in alternative medicine started when she found success diminishing childhood anxiety with acupuncture and using chiropractic treatment to recover from a major surgery. Despite growing up in an unhealthy environment, which led her to become prediabetic at only 16, Sophia sought out change. After embracing a new lifestyle, she fell in love with the journey of creating a healthier body. Since then, she has become certified with the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Sophia regularly encourages chiropractic care to her clients who are struggling with pain.
Before college, Sophia spent a year volunteering at a rehabilitation center for orphaned and endangered species near Kruger National Park in South Africa. She attended Lasell University graduating with a BA in Environmental Studies. She received Lasell's Academic Book Award for her senior thesis 'Environmental Economics: The Key to Effectual Climate Change'. Despite this focus, after college she realized her passion still lay in bettering her health and helping others achieve the peace of well-being.
Sophia is very excited to be working with all of the fantastic healers at The Lydian Center; in a positive environment that allows her to further her knowledge and experience. Her administrative duties allow the office to flow gracefully and ensure that all clients feel a part of the Lydian Center family.
